first page in a school project: create a children's book.

I won't go into detail, but I have the whole script planned out. I have a version in French, but the actually hard copy is actually in English.

I don't really have much to say right now...well, I don't feel like saying much.. a little lazy >_>;

But it's done in marker and pencil. I don't want the sky to be flat black, the marker strokes are intentional (I have another marker I could have used to do slower strokes to make it a flat black). The stars here are done with white out. in the redo the stars aren't done using white out. In fact, in the redo I don't use white out at all (as I originally planned).

I think that's pretty much it. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I don't check this as often as I should so I might get back to you a little late (sorry!) but I DO get back to people! ^^"

Step by step

07th October 2007

How I work digitally pretty much. Lots of people use several layers for their digital work and I used to as well. I now use only about two (usually) one for the image/foreground and one for the background... I guess it makes it feel more fluid to me. Like it's all part of the same thing.. hmm.. Anyway, here's the step-by-step (:

I used openCanvas4 (as usual)

sorry I was inactive for so long

18th September 2007

I lost my muse for a bit I guess.. then I just got lazy >_>;;;

Um, two of my friends and I started another site, but it doesn't have any commentary like the blog has. The URL is http://www.freewebs.com/bahanimation/ (you'll know my account when you see it)

anyway, what do I have to submit today? Well, I worked on drawing up these rugby T-shirts for my dad! :)

I'm working on my portfolio in hopes of getting a scholarship. Nobody seems to want to give a scholarship to you if you're going into art. It's as if they don't realise what an important part art plays in Bahamian culture (and culture in general) or, apparently, it's practical uses :/
It's a little frustrating and I think that mentality needs to change! (:

my business card ;D lol
