I'm doing an art trade (exchange of gift art) with "Hioko-Itsuko" on www.DeviantArt.com
This is my half of the art trade (her character "Hioko", and I've seen her sketch for her half too (my two charcters 20&21).


I tried using texture. Loish on DA explained how to do it - you go into your art program, put the texture on the top layer and decrease the opacity (it's easier than it sounds). As usual, I did some colour experimenting. I seem to like using reds in my colouring. I don't know why (blue is my favourite colour). I asked Hioko-Itsuko if she minds if I sell prints of this picture (considering this is still her character) and she said no problem, so I'm going to sell this as a bookmark ^^ yey! I think I will price it at $7 - a little more than the other bookmarks because I put in so much more effort. I'll sort out all the little details later.
